HCK Class of 2014 Reunion

Class of 2014 return for a unforgettable evening
Saying hello to some old friends :)
Saying hello to some old friends :)

The reunion began with a warm welcome back to the school from Ms. O'Brien and Mrs. Moiselle. One by one, the room filled with familiar faces and old friends, as we caught up over cups of tea, sharing stories about our career paths, moves abroad, and for some, recent engagements!

The current 5th-year 'house heads' graciously served as our hosts, guiding us through the school and updating us on the many changes at HCK since 2014. We split into smaller groups to explore the school grounds, marveling at the new science labs and the impressive sports center. The transformation of the school ignited our curiosity, turning us back into the giddy schoolgirls who once roamed the same corridors. We also fondly reminisced about the places that had remained unchanged, frozen in time, as if we had never left.

One of the evening's highlights was receiving handmade goody bags from the current HCK students. Each bag was uniquely designed and filled with thoughtful mementos that reminded us of our time at the school. Inside were tokens and symbols, including a copy of our booklet from the leavers' mass, a teabag symbolising catch-ups with friends over a cuppa, and amusingly, a bag of marbles to represent the ones we've lost since leaving school (no comment!).

It was truly an unforgettable evening, and we are sincerely grateful to the school—especially to Ms. Moiselle, Ms. O'Brien, and the 5th-year students—who took the time out of their busy festive schedules to reunite the Class of 2014.
