Alumnae News! |
On Friday, 19th September 2025 the Class of 1995 returned to HCK to celebrate their 30-year anniversary. It was a very special occasion and enjoyed by all who came to share great memories of their time in Killiney.
It was great to meet with Caroline O’Brien who greeted every person by name! All the girls were delighted with the thoughtful gift bags which were prepared by current students of HCK with Mrs Moiselle - the skittles were a great hit, as well as the class photo of 95 with some very bad hair styles!
Mrs Moiselle led a touching service in memory of our dear class mate Megan Byrne, who sadly passed away in April. May she rest in peace.
The reunion continued with a nostalgic walk through the school, guided by the wonderful Sixth Year Prefects. We were so taken with the incredible changes over the years. From the impressive new science labs to the vibrant art room, great hockey pitch and sports centre, it was inspiring to see how far HCK has come.
The night was filled with stories, laughter, and reconnections. While some classmates couldn’t attend due to various reasons, they were deeply missed— and plans are already in place for festive drinks this Christmas.
Actions not Words was very much at the heart of the evening.
